Ben Fordham is cautioning sporting bodies against forcing players into making political statements.

T20 Cricket World Cup players have been encouraged to take a knee before games in support of Black Lives Matter.

The South African men’s cricket team appeared divided with the players seen standing, kneeling or raising a fist.

“I think sport is heading down a slippery slope with his stuff,” Ben said, “it’s a guilt trip.”

“None of them on the same page and none of them should be put in this position in the first place.”
