Barbed wire saves man from huge crocodile

A barbed-wire fence has saved a man from a saltwater crocodile who crept up behind him in Darwin.
The man was trimming some trees on his land when the crocodile, estimated to be more than five metres long, came up behind him.
The crocodile’s jaws were bloodied after apparently eating a calf nearby.
Crocodile expert Professor Graeme Webb tells Ben Fordham he doesn’t know how the crocodile got there.
“These things are really seriously big predators.
“If a croc that size grabs you there’s only one end result. You’re dead.”
