Bank note printers to strike for first time in 105 years
Workers at Note Printing Australia will strike Friday for the first time in the company’s 105 years of operation.
Not only does the Melbourne-based company print Australian currency, but also that of 18 other counties as well as our passports.
Mick Bull from the Australian Manufacturer Worker’s Union tells Ross Greenwood the strike, set to last 24 hours, is over pay rates.
Members are also calling for domestic violence leave.
