Commonwealth Games gold medal contender Isaac Cooper has been sent home from the Dolphins training camp in Europe for disciplinary reasons.

Swimming Australia released a vague statement explaining the decision was made because of wellbeing issues that included the misuse of medication.

Sports Reporter from The Australian Jessica Halloran joined Jim Wilson on Drive to raise her concerns about the lack of information about the situation.

“I can’t recall another athlete that has been kicked off the Australian Commonwealth games team before an event had played out,” she said.

“There seems to be a lack of transparency Jim.

“I know there are a lot of people close to Isaac who are quite concerned.”
