Rugby League Immortal and Nine Commentator Andrew Johns is confident Manly fullback Tom Trbojevic will be picked for NSW for the series opener against Queensland in Adelaide on May 31

Joey told The Continuous Call Team that although Trbojevic hasn’t been at his best in 2023, he expects him to feature in Brad Fittler’s team ahead of Manly’s clash with Canberra on Sunday afternoon.

“As long as he pulls up fine, by all accounts he is playing fine, we just haven’t seen that tackle break ability we usually see from him,” Johns said.

“As long as he gets through this game, I’m pretty sure he’ll be there.

“Let’s hope we see a different Turbo today.”
