Liberal Senator Jim Molan has expressed concerns over Labor’s climate policy ahead of their budget reply tonight. 

The Opposition’s policy includes a mandate for half of all new cars sold to be electric by the year 2030.

Senator Molan tells Chris Smith small towns cannot afford the amount of electricity required to power these cars.

“It’s gonna suck power out of that town like you wouldn’t believe.

“Ours is a good solid budget but what lies behind their budget is an extraordinary problem.”
