The Labor Party has been criticised over their stance on coal-fired power.

Minister for Resources Matt Canavan tells Luke Grant although Labor claims it’s okay to export our coal overseas, they don’t seem to want our country to be able to use our own resources.

“It’s as if Anthony Albanese and the Labor Party have an Australia last policy. They’re not putting Australia first.

“On the projections of the International Energy Agency, we all need to mine more coal in the first 40 years of this century than we ever have before in history, and that’s just the size of the Asia Pacific market.”
