Storm winger Will Warbrick has reflected on his match-winning try which helped the club move through to a Preliminary final against Penrith next week in Sydney.

With the Storm trailing 13-12 to the Roosters in the dying minutes, Warbrick caught a Cameron Munster cross-field bomb and lunged over the line to put the ball down in the corner, scoring the winning try to give Melbourne an 18-13 victory.

Warbrick, who’s born in New Zealand and won an Olympic silver medal in Rugby Sevens for his country, told The Continuous Call Team it was a surreal moment.

“I was saying last night that it was all a blur and it’s the same today,” Warbrick said.

“It all happened pretty quick, it’s a moment I’ll never forget.”
