Iconic Australian department store David Jones is reportedly on the brink of voluntary administration, facing mounting financial pressure and the potential closure of dozens of stores.

SDA National Secretary Gerard Dwyer joined 2GB Drive and discussed the situation with host James Willis.

“We’re heading into Christmas and what they’re looking at is an enormous period of uncertainty,” Dwyer said.
