‘Ducking for cover’ – James Willis calls out the RBA’s silence on government spending
2GB Drive host James Willis has called out the Reserve Bank of Australia over its reluctance to publicly address the Albanese’s Government’s spending and its impact on inflation.
He questioned why the RBA are “too gun-shy” to call out government spending, saying Australians are being forced to tighten their belts while government spending continues to rise.
“The Reserve Bank keeps telling Aussies to tighten their belts, but they won’t call out the other big issue,” Willis said.
