2GB Drive host James Willis thinks Jim Chalmers’ future as Treasurer is “on the ropes”, amid growing public anger over the cost of living.

Willis says Chalmers has been “exposed as a world-class hypocrite” after he was quick to criticise the Coalition’s handling of the economy during the pandemic but is now relying on similar explanations for the current economic situation.

“People had a little bit of a reality check about what has been going on in the last 12 months,” Willis said.
