The win followed a brutal week of media scrutiny directed at the Blues, with critics everywhere calling for coach Laurie Daley to be axed and savaging his squad selections.

But the response on the field was heroic.

“That was the best Blues win I’ve seen at Suncorp in my time watching Origin,” Josh Morris told The Continuous Call Team.

“You haven’t been able to wipe the smile off my face all week.” He said.
