Critics have heavily criticised his tactics, team selections and ability to inspire the squad, with many calling for him to go.

With Daley’s less than impressive Origin coaching record, the names of Matty and Joey Johns are already being floated as potential replacements.

“It’s probably an itch they’ve always thought in the back of their mind” Cooper Johns told the Continuous Call Team.
