Federal Government’s competency called into question after terror threat level jumps
Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke’s ability to do his job has been questioned after he was missing from yesterday’s terror threat level press conference.
Shadow Home Affairs Minister, James Paterson, points out the last time Burke held the portfolio a record number of children were held in detention.
He also says the government has failed to combat the rise of anti-semitism following the October 7 attacks.
