Cronulla premiership-winning captain Paul Gallen has slammed the decision to charge Sharks fullback Will Kennedy with Contrary Conduct after he ran into Referee Adam Gee in Friday’s win over the Tigers.

Kennedy will receive a one-game ban over the incident with an early guilty plea, but if he unsuccessfully challenges it, he’ll be suspended for two matches.
