NSW Treasurer Daniel Mookhey lifts the lid on higher taxes for foreign buyers
New South Wales Treasurer, Daniel Mookhey, is considering a crack down on foreign buyers of Aussie property.
He is weighing up the benefits of taxing foreign buyers and closing loopholes that lets temporary residents buy established property and leave the property empty.
Update: NSW Treasurer, Daniel Mookhey, joined Luke to discuss the potential changes to foreign owned property.
“We have got to adopt an ‘all the above’ solutions approach to make sure people can afford to have a roof over their head” Mookhey said.
