A big congratulations to legendary broadcaster and 2GB Icon, Ray Hadley, who was honoured over the weekend at the 52nd Golden Guitar Awards.

He received the special Country Music Capital Award in recognition of his passionate and sustained support for the promotion of Australian country music!

On receiving the Country Music Capital Award, Ray said: “It was a wonderful surprise and I was very humbled by the Toyota Golden Guitars decision to acknowledge my contribution to Australian country music.”
