Push to get more Aussie students learning Indonesian in schools

There’s a fresh push to get more Australian students learning Indonesian in schools as Prime Minister Anthony Albanese welcomes Indonesian President Joko Widodo.

Journalist Zac De Silva spoke with James Willis on the matter, with the proposal for more Australians to learn Indonesian to be one of the key agendas both leaders discuss.

“At the moment, there aren’t many Australian students that learn Bahasa Indonesia, the official language of Indonesia,” De Silva said.
