There are calls for the federal government to make prescription medications cheaper as the cost of living continues to rise.
The number of people not filling prescriptions due to the cost is becoming more common, putting patients’ health at risk.
Pharmacy Guild of Australia president Professor Trent Twomey told Chris O’Keefe the Guild is calling for the government to reduce the cost of PBS medicines from $30 to $19.
