‘Australian natives first’: Bird expert’s solution to myna traffic mess
A stubborn bird is disrupting Sydney traffic with its curious nest placement.
According to The Sydney Morning Herald, transport workers have removed a common myna bird’s nests in traffic lights at the corner of Mount and Walker streets in North Sydney’s business district four times in one month.
Bird expert Grainne Cleary told Ben Fordham the introduced species should be moved.
“You’ve got to put Australian natives first.”
