Cronulla Sharks halfback Nicho Hynes has won The Continuous Call Team’s Player of the Year award for 2022.

For every game called by the team, one member judges the best players on the field and gives a 3, 2, 1 points allocation.

In his first season at Cronulla, Hynes finished with 37 votes ahead of Dragons halfback Ben Hunt who finished second with 32 votes.

He told The Continuous Call Team he’s very “grateful” for the award.
