ARLC Chairman Peter V’landys has confirmed GPS ball-tracking technology is still a long way off.

Mr V’landys told Ben Fordham the technology to deal with forward passes is in the works.

“We have been trialling it and there is still a long way to go with that technology.

“We’d like to see it. But at the moment, it’s far from being done.”
