How living with the in-laws can benefit family

2GB Afternoons

Navigating relationships with your inlaws has traditionally been a fraught experience.

Recently, COVID and house prices has seen a surge in the number of people moving closer to family.

Marcus Pearce from Mullumbimby lives two doors down from his inlaws and joined Deborah Knight on Afternoons to talk about the benefits and how to do it successfully.

“Honoring everyone’s differences in a family … I probably think that’s the number one ingredient,” he said.

“There’s something really special about having family close-by.”

Marcus Pearce and his family will be profiled on tonight’s episode of Insight on SBS called: For better or worse, you marry inlaws.
