NSW drops close contact isolation rules, scraps hotel quarantine
NSW will drop COVID isolation rules for household contacts from Friday.
Currently, a range of workers are exempt from isolating for 7 days if they live with a COVID-positive person.
NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet has announced hotel quarantine will cease for unvaccinated international travellers from April 30.
The requirement for key workforces to be vaccinated against COVID-19 will be dropped, excluding aged care and disability workers.
