‘The pink tutus are out’: Mother’s Day fundraiser returns

The Mother’s Day Classic fundraiser returns on Sunday, May 8 to celebrate its 25th Anniversary run and walk.

CEO of Mother’s Day Classic Zara Lawless told Deborah Knight, “the pink tutus are out, the pink wigs, we are ready to get the community together right across Australia”.

“We are bringing back the fun.”

Raising funds for research and to honour those affected by breast cancer the event has seen nearly 1.5 million Australians participate over 24 years.

Ms Lawless said, “It is this community movement that celebrates and honours those people who have had their lives turned upside down from breast cancer.
