A government document has revealed that roads in regional New South Wales are more than 20 years old and 2000 kilometres are in ‘poor or very poor condition’.

NSW Shadow Minister for Roads John Graham has told Jim Wilson, “The truth is shocking”.

“They are falling apart.”

“These local roads are just not getting the priority that it needs.”

Mr Graham is calling for more involvement from the federal government saying “We want these to be a higher priority when it comes to the funding choices the governments ultimately have to make”.
