Australians are having creative send-offs as the world marks the Mexican holiday, Day of the Dead.

Bare Cremation co-founder Cale Donovan told Deborah Knight “there’s plenty of novel ways to memorialise someone”.

“They either think of places that are really special to them … the other way is jewellery or keepsakes.

“There’s the ability to turn someone’s ashes into vinyl and creating a record … a soundtrack of a person’s life.”
