The NSW Premier has refused to meet with the mayors of hotspot LGAs to discuss the ongoing lockdown.

They lodged a request for a virtual meeting with the Premier but were instead given an appointment with the local government minister.

Canterbury-Bankstown Mayor Khal Asfour told Ben Fordham “she’s turned her back on us”.

“All we requested was a simple meeting to convey our concerns to her and she snubbed us.”
