Get your helmet on, it’s Magpie season! Magpies are starting to nest early which leads to territorial swooping. Bird expert Grainne Cleary tells John the males guard the eggs and will issue a first warning and swooping close, then a second warning of swooping closer and then CONTACT! Amazingly magpies can identify up to 100 faces and won’t attack people who feed them.
