Six-year-old Archie has spent much of his short life in hospital, as he battles a life-threatening heart condition.

At just three-months-old, he had his first open heart surgery, with 12 more since then.

He had one wish, to captain the Australian Cricket team.

And thanks to Make-A-Wish, it will come true.

The video shows Coach of the Australian Cricket Team Justin Langer surprised Archie with a call to share some life-changing news.

Sarah Coroney, Head of Wish Design and Innovation at Make-A-Wish Foundation, tells Ben Fordham the call from Langer is just the start of Archie’s wish journey.

She says there’s plenty more planned for the young cricket fan.
