215,000 NSW families to benefit as childcare gap fees waived

Childcare gap fees for Sydney parents are being waived for those who choose to keep their children at home through lockdown.

Federal Education Minister Alan Tudge told Jim Wilson the measure is designed to take the financial pressure off families and providers alike.

“We’ve got a bit experience in this.

“There’s about 215,000 families in NSW that will benefit from this.”
