Karl Stefanovic is set to return as co-host on the Channel Nine TODAY show alongside Allison Langdon in 2020.

Ahead of Karl’s arrival, Steve Price will begin a new TODAY show segment from next week and is concerned how short-lived it will be with Karl at the helm.

“It might not last long given the changing host from next year… I might only have a couple of weeks to go,” Steve tells Karl.

“I’ll have to weigh all of that up, Steve, in the coming weeks,” says Karl.

“You were very, very, cruel to me when I first started on your program.

“So I may have to return serve.”

Karl tells Steve he can’t wait to return to the TODAY show and bring important issues to the audience and have a bit of fun along the way.

“Allie and I go way back. In fact, we were in the Nine newsroom together in 2004… she was a producer then.

“She’s great to work with… and I know she’s really looking forward to it.”
