Former NRL star and Cronulla Sharks Premiership winning captain Paul Gallen has said this year’s squad is looking to make an impact.

With trial games wrapped up over the weekend and new signings in place to kick off, the campaign Gallen said new coach Craig Fitzgibbon has fitted in smoothly.

He told Bill Woods, “He’s been around for a long time, and doing what he needs to do”.

“You got to respect him and want to play for him.”

The impact of Craig has been instant and Paul said “He’s got the boys on his side”.
