Mark Levy has unleashed on “ultra fans” who were involved in a melee on Saturday night.

The A-Leauge Melbourne derby turned to chaos after fans invaded the pitch.

Ultras is a term to describe fans who create an atmosphere that supports their team while intimidating the opposition and their fans.

“Ultras do not work in Australian sporting culture,” Mark Levy said.

“Ultra-supporter bays need to be shut down until they learn the difference between passion and aggression.

“Rub the ultras out of the game in Australia!”
