Chris O’Keefe has hit out at those who are criticising Chris Minns and the New South Wales government for their million-dollar deal to bring the UFC to Sydney, declaring Sunday’s event, the first of three events in the state, “was worth every cent.”

“The broadcast itself had all the beautiful pictures of Sydney Harbour, Bondi Beach, the Blue Mountains and it goes on and on,” he said.

“It was a rolled gold advertisement for this city.”
