A slew of world-renowned ballet stars are heading to Sydney for the inaugural Sydney International Ballet Gala. 

Headlining event is superstar ballerina Natalia Osipova, Principal of The Royal Ballet.

The show will be hosted by Channel 9’s own Belinda Russell who joined Joe Hildebrand on Afternoons to explain what fans can expect.

“You’re going to see all these traditional classical pieces … but you’re also going to get some contemporary pieces,” she said.

“I think this a wonderful way to re-ignite that passion and get some new fans.”

The gala will take place at Sydney’s Coliseum Theatre, West HQ on the 16th and 17th of July.
