The Woolworths CEO has addressed the effects of COVID-19 as shelves sit empty across Sydney.

Distribution workers identified as close contacts in NSW are exempt from 7-day isolation.

Woolworths CEO Brad Banducci told Chris O’Keefe key shortage areas are changing by the day.

“Poultry, in particular, has been a bigger challenge.

“The real pinch point right now is in our distribution centres.”
