Women bashed by teenage boys in Sydney’s south
A young woman has been attacked and robbed by two teenage boys in Sydney’s south.
The 21-year-old was walking through a carpark at Wolli Creek at about 11.20pm on Sunday.
Two 14-year-old boys allegedly approached the woman as she went to her car and demanded her belongings.
When she tried to walk away, the boys allegedly grabbed her by the arms and her handbag and threw her to the ground.
One of the teens repeatedly kicked her in the stomach and chest until she let go of the bag and the boys ran away.
Emergency services were called and the woman was taken to St George Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
At about 9pm on Monday night, police pulled over a vehicle on Broughton Street in Campbelltown.
Officers arrested the two 14-year-olds and have since charged them with robbery in company.
Both have been refused bail and will face Campbelltown Children’s Court today.
