Police are asking for the public’s help to find a woman, after she allegedly stole from a visually impaired man at Westfield Shopping Centre in Mount Druitt last month.

At around 1.30pm on Sunday, March 19, a 72-year-old visually impaired man was attempting to withdraw money from an ATM, however, he required assistance.

While waiting for staff to assist him, it’s alleged a woman approached him and offered to withdraw the money for him, then withdrew a larger amount than requested and fled with the cash.

Police have commenced investigations to find the woman, who is described as Caucasian, between 18-23 years-old, with a thin build and brown hair.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
