A woman has died after being pulled from the water at Gordon’s Bay in Sydney’s east.

The popular swimming spot is now closed.

Police believe the 47 year old suffered a medical episode while swimming.

Nine News journalist Tiffiny Genders told Chris O’Keefe members of the public brought the woman to shore, after a snorkeler found her in the water.
