The Wimbledon tennis tournament has been overshadowed by controversy.

Kicking off on Monday, some of the world’s biggest stars will be out in force, however, it’s focusing on the players who won’t be playing.

All Russian and Belarusian players have been banned from taking part.

Russian World Number 1 Daniil Medvedev will not play in the tournament.

Also for the first time since 1998, Roger Federer will not be competing.
