20 years on from the Bali Bombings the Indonesian owner of the Sari Club site has agreed to sell some of the land in order to build a peace park to commemorate those killed in the attack.

The plan is to build in the same spot where Sari nightclub stood before for $4.4 million but the money needs to be secured before the end of March.

6 members of the Coogee Dolphins Rugby League team died and President Paul Vanni told Jim Wilson, “It would be fabulous if it did come together”.

“It still affects us.

“Everybody’s lives changed a little bit after that event.

“We will work hard to do whatever we have to do to make it happen.”
