Leaders in business, community, and government will sleep without shelter tonight in efforts to help change the lives of Australians experiencing homelessness.

Vinnies is raising money to provide people experiencing homelessness and people at risk of homelessness with vital access to food and accommodation.

CEO of St Vincent de Paul Society NSW Jack De Groot told Deborah Knight that having an event like this is “crucial”.

“It draws attention to the issues of homelessness that are really difficult,” he said.

“It’s crucial that people give generously.”
