Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is set to address the nation at 7 pm tonight, with many pointing out the last national address was back during COVID.

Nine Radio federal reporter Michael Pachi has told Clinton Maynard that fuel rationing is not likely to be announced, but many have been left to question why Albanese will be addressing the nation.

“Why are you holding an address to the nation? Because stuff like this raises anxiety that people think that there’s more to this crisis that they don’t know about and that the government is trying to get on top of,” he said.
