Michael McLaren has reacted to the scenes out of the Middle East over the weekend, saying it’s clear Iranian officials can no longer sleep soundly at night.

But he also says he was struck by the coverage of the conflict and how predictable the analysis had been.

“I can’t tell you how many talking heads I saw questioning the justification for military action against the Iranian regime,” he said,

“Others went completely off the reservation, essentially claiming that the Iranian regime isn’t really that big a threat in the scheme of things … I’d love those ones to tell that to the families mourning thousands and thousands of loved ones killed by the Ayatollahs henchmen,” he added.
