Sydney locals are outraged at the cap imposed on concerts at Allianz Stadium due to noise complaints.

The Stadium is only allowed to hold six concerts a year due to the cap which is preventing major artists from performing at the billion-dollar venue.

Venues NSW acting chair Rod McGeogh told Chris O’Keefe the cap is having a major impact on the arts industry.

“This current cap is a restriction on the sort of business we could be doing at Moore Park,” said Mr McGeogh.

“We don’t have a roofed stadium with a significant capacity.”
