A local truckie is weeks away from shutting his business doors due to absurd tolls and fuel costs.

Owner of ‘A-A Plus Driver Trainer’ Tristan Wernhard informed Jim Wilson he is currently spending an extra $25,000 per month on petrol compared to the start of the year due to a fleet of six trucks.

Tristan told Jim he is at breaking point and it’s almost no longer sustainable to run his business with the costs.

“When is this sustainable and when isn’t it … and it’s at the point where it’s not.”
