‘Who died and made you King?’: Ben grills Premier over Opera House snub

NSW Premier Chris Minns has received negative feedback for his decision not to light up the Opera House sails for the King’s Coronation.

Apparently, it costs between $80,000 and $100,000 to light up the sails, a fact which the Premier has used to justify his decision.

“I’d like to keep it for Australia and Australian moments of sacrifice and heroism for the country,” Minns told Ben Fordham.

“I’m not going to apologise for where we spend public money,” he said.
