Labor’s candidate for the seat of Liverpool is in some hot water after being caught slamming the party in leaked messages.

Charishma Kaliyanda has accused them of budding “people of colour” and favouring “white, male millionaires”.

In the texts, Ms Kaliyanda also attacked the party for its “captain’s pick” of Andrew Charlton to run in the seat of Parramatta.

His endorsement raised a few questions, given he was living in Bellevue Hill in a $16 million home.
