NSW Police Commissioner Karen Webb has reflected on what drove her to the force.

She was sworn today in at a ceremony held in the small town of Boorowa where she grew up.

Ms Webb told Ray Hadley it was a local police officer conducting driving license tests who inspired her.

“There was a recruitment pamphlet on the counter and at that moment I thought ‘that’s what I want to do’ and so that’s where it all began.”
